Mmmm... thinks Wulf, followers you say, that was some time ago......(quickly looking through some older files) - - arhh yes! .. Here it is, this is how you do it, but you will have to do some reading!

Ha ha, that made me smile, but many good guys have come and travelled-on from these boards.

After killing all monsters on the paths between the three camps, it is quite easy, without any cheating to have Mud follow you to any camp. If there are no monsters or enemies, then Mud will happily follow pc-hero - have done this many times.
Now it just so happens that the sleep aura of the sleeper has no effect on Mud provided pc-hero gets to the aura area first, or vice-versa.
FACT:
**Only one npc in a group containing one or more followers will be affected by the sleepers aura**
.......so you see, if Mud gets near to the sleeper first, then pc-hero will stay unaffected. When i first found this out, i obviously then tried to kill the sleeper with a melee weapon, and most contrary to the belief of many gothic gamers, - - - - yes! the sleeper can be killed with a normal *non-uriziel* weapon. Well... I started Gothic 1 and tried to take Mud with me but he got really annoying and... I had to chase him around the Old Camp. The funny thing was that he climbed on the roofs and I had to chase him there too.
Its impossible for me! It must have been frustrating to take Mud with you... Whew, I can only think about it.

He is like a machine _________________ I really, really tried to figure out something clever here like "Life is a waterfall" and artistic stuff like that but no! I still cannot figure out a signature arrrr yarrr! Me bucko! Pirates! |
