Not unless you go back to a chapter start.

When you select the "New" option it prompts you to choose between a new character or exising character. The "New" option will allow you to select any SP chapter you have been in (not finished, but started) or any modual you have in the mod'd directory.

Eh? I can switch characters at any time, by using the Load function and selecting a different character.

I'll have to try this at home ... I don't recall having the option to switch characters in SP ... but that could just be 'cuz I wasn't looking!
