Things have finally slowed down at work, and so Lintra decides to take a stroll through the forums. "What this? An active thread in the Ultima forum, cool. Think I'll check it out".

(* unbeknownst to Lintra he is in for a bit of shock *)

So Lintra starts to read ... "Hmmm never got around to playing U9 after all the bugs were fixed, but I'll read it anyway, might get me motivated ... " *WHAM* A G2 vs MW fight breaks out. "What the ???" asks the surprised Lintra.

OMG.

Personal 2 cents - I really enjoyed BOTH games discussed here ... dunno about U9 though *grin*

@Jaz - Your are (were?, as this took place over a year ago), as usual, 100% correct. Daggerfall was MUCH bigger, but those dratted random dungeons!!*grin* I gave up on Daggerfall after not saving a game and losing 5 hours of really productive playing time. Got a number of cool missions, and some spells I'd been looking forward to. Derailed the game for me - never quite 'hooked' me again, even though I tried several times. Should've waited until the patches were all done before giving it second go.

7 months?!!? Wow.
