Math sux, do that in school or at work. For now HAVE FUN!
heres a good word problem.
If thre are 17 apples and you take away 9, how many do you have?
Does Britian have a 4th of July?
How many birthdays does the average man have?
Febuary has 28 days. what other month/months can have 28?
A man is found hanging in the middle of a barn, from a 12 foot high rafter. A note written in his handwriting proves this was a suiside. The only thing in the barn is a puddle and some rope. How did he hang himself?
There is a solid 20x20 foot sq cement room. In the room is a pipe. It is impeded 5 feet down in the cement. In the pipe is a
ping-pong ball. The ball just barely fits down the pipe. all you have is your underwear, and a rubbermallet. how do you get the ball out of the pipe.
(Time for an immature question )

Of course. They don't skip it.

Need to think about this one more.

I would have to say urinate into the pipe. Ping-pong balls float. That is, if the pipe is in the floor of the room.

Nope. I'm not gay.

He used blocks of ice as a ladder.

You must copy the link into your address bar and then press enter, Angelfire doesn't allow direct file linking.

Ahh, Differential Equations. My old nemesis...
I'd done this one by over-simplifying things and just using basic calculus (hence my incorrect answer
More math fun: A person climbs a staircase of 10 stairs. The person takes steps up the staircase, sometimes stepping on the next stairstep up, sometimes skipping a stairstep (and stepping on the stairstep *two* up) How many possible ways can the person climb the stair?
EX: if the stair were only 3 steps high, the person could take 3 1-steps, or
a 1-step and a 2-step, or a 2-step and a 1- step, for a total of 3 possibilities. Now, try 10 stairs. Show your work.

hmmmmmmmmm..methinks Sauron is either a math whiz, instructor, or just WAY too much time on his hands...
As for me, I'm much more into simple word problems...ya know, if bill has 3 apples and sarah has 7, how many do they have total if steve eats 1.5?
If you can't do it on your fingers and/or toes, it wasn't meant to do!!

Actually, I asked my Dad. All credit can go to him. I, myself, haven't seen that problem before. And, I'm not a math wiz (I'm only 13) but I do like Algebra and Linear Equations.
