Hey Val, long time no see! Doing good?

And.. haven't you played G2?

I still find it hard to believe that we might actually see an English NotR, but as you can already pre-order it, it might just become a reality. Amazing!

Nope, I haven't. Now it looks like my little protest is about to pay off. I figured they'd get around to releasing the gold edition. I doubted that they'd release just the expansion here in North America, so why buy Gothic 2 twice? If they were going to ignore this market, then I wasn't about to give them extra money for doing so.

I saved more than $10. A lot more and I don't have to buy Gothic 2 twice to get the expansion. Besides, as the old saying goes, good things come to those who wait. I have no problem exercising a little patience to gain a greater reward. In this case, playing a RPG (don't know if it's good yet) without having to spend a lot of money on it.

Lots of people reported G2 was in the bargain bin for $10 about 3 months after release, plus it was repeatedly on sale for $10. So you really only saved 10 bucks, plus shipping or gas.

money is money, I for one wish I could use the same discretion, however after saying that I've got to admit gothic 2 is a really amazing game, so it's worth about 50 $ in my opion

I've never seen Gothic 2 for $10. I've seen it at full price, or more often, not at all.

Hey, I think with preordering available and Aspyr listing the release as Gold Master, it's about time to UNSTICKY some of the threads about applying language packs and ordering from Czechoslovakia (nonexistent, isn't it?).

Just my 2 cents.
