Dwarves kick axe!

I'm gonna be an axe-kicking dwarf! Who's with me? We could start a dwarven clan!

I didn't know Blood Elves were a playable race. The official website says that Night Elves are the only elves available.

It isn’t right now, but I believe there are suppose to be eight of nine races total so the likelihood of a race as popular as the Blood Elves making it in seems pretty good. Otherwise why even add Blood Elves into the War 3 expansion?

And on the subject of dwarves, they seem kind of funny and would no doubt make a great blue collar working class, but I can never choose a character that’s only three feet tall.
For me, I’m looking at a dual wielding or Orcish rouge, even though Orcs are wrongly being betrayed by humans as some kind of evil beasts. HAODL

And how is it that undead are a playable race? Aren’t The Scourge suppose to be mindless beings being lead by higher powers? Since when can they think and act under their own volition?

The undead are not the Scourge. There evil queen or princess, freed them and now they hate the Scourge.... along those lines.

Roach:

All the races have been revealed for commercial launch. They are:
Night Elves, Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, Undead, Orcs, Tauren, and Trolls.

Blizzard has stated it is considering introducing new races with expansions, so Blood Elves may be a possibility in the future.

ziBzi:

The Undead that are playable as characters are part of a faction of undead known as "The Forsaken". They're free of the rule of the Lich King, and led by the Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner. The Forsaken are not the mindless slaves of the Lich King, but intelligent beings in their own right. The Forsaken are aligned with the Horde simply as a matter of convenience, in order that they will have allies in their struggle against their former master.

As far as I know, all the races for the initial release have been announced ... But My hope is that in the first expansion Blizz will put at least Blood Elves and Nagas, as they are very popular within the War3 community ...

do you mean naga as enemies or a playable race?
That wld be really cool to become a naga. I would also be interested in how they would fit back into the WoW.

Oh, I hope they include the naga as a playable race ... but allied with the Scourge, I hope!
As I am looking to creating a Naga Warrior or some other melee oriented class and a Naga-Siren Mage or other magical class ...

Yeah i guess that would be ok.
I would like to see a giant race, or maybe dragons.

Now if you could go a flying naga then i would like that!

Oh, I doubt that there will ever be dragons or other flying creatures as Playable Characters ... as means of transport, yes - but certainly no dragons, as Blizz have stated in the official FAQ,, but nothing more ...
As for giants - maybe they"ll put them in the game later, in the so much rumoured expansions or maybe, if not being so commersial, as free content ...
