Ok well after all the experiments I made from last week, I gathered enough info to make a team up, not one that would be 'fun' persay, but one that would be stable and get me through my first time with very little frustration.
I decided on
2) Draco Fighters
mook ranger, mook gadgeteer
rawulf priest, elven mage
first off, a fighter + bloodlust = massive dmg.
So I gave one fighter the bloodlust, the other I gave the 5-13 +1 +1 sword from the wheel key room...from there, the other chars were able to level in relative safety.
My second go around prolly wont have any fighters, but for the 1st timer I'd say this is a good all around first-time team.
And another thing, at one point at the Umpani camp I hit the button on Kumar's side of the register and he attacked me, thats how I came across the room in the back and the fake pass...I took a guess that he was a spy (at least thats what I typed when Balbrak asked me)...and I got exp. Now, how do I get that pass/and his key to the backroom from him without killing him?
Specially since you can turn the fighters into two massive tanks cause of their ability to use all the high end armors |

I always PP Kunar for the Key, you can also get the Pass by telling him the right phrase, i've forgotten it, though. _________________ If thousand-year-old family traditions are so important to you, why do you have indoor plumbing and electricity in your family's house? |

A fine solid team, although it could be a consideration to switch a pure fighter to a hybrid fighter (monk would be the obvious choice, although it would limit your weapon usage). Definitely playable all the way through as is.

Nice call Otter, how did you find that out?
After I killed Kumar and found the fake pass and the portal to MB in his back room I took a wild guess and called him a spy when Balbrak asked. But I couldnt find a way to find a way to get it out of him |

The Trang will gladly tell you how to communicate with their spy if you're doing their quests. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

You should have found a couple people in the Rynjin huts, as well as some scuba gear. Once you're done with the island, equip the scuba on all party members, and go for a swim. Now it's going to get fun. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

well here's the thing, I took the Umpani way into Bajin, so before I ever landed on shore I had already killed Nessy (cake) found the dog tags (was I supposed to give them to the recovered Umpani before I brought him back to Yamir? Cause all he says now is he needs rest and then kills the convo before I can give them. Yamir dont want them either.
I got to DJs locker, and a lot of the surrounding caves...Now that sea caves place was a bi*ch, I found the plank the hammer and the fishing line but I couldnt seem to find a way to put it all together, so I headed to Bajin from the path behind Nessie, found the ship the blk box and got the flag and neckalce from the dying lady and I found the Umpani Sgt, but no drazic, no Rodan...
Now Im on the final Umpani mission but I cant get any more missions out of Z'ant (do I have to complete the Dranic one before I get the spy or?...) |

Sorry, got my names mixed up. The Rapax have the two guys you're looking for, but not at their castle. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

The Drazic and Rodan quests are actually the final individual quests from the Umpani and the T'Rang, before you get to some joint quests. If you go that far; you don't have to. These aren't given as specific quests in the sequence of quests for you to do. Each side has a sequence, and these are just separate ones.
Re-check your journal. From your earlier posts, I think you are probably stuck on the T'Rang quest for the Astral Dominae. This is where you're their emissary to the mooks. I don't remember the specific order of the quests, but I know this isn't the last one, and if and when you complete it, you'll be given more quests, one of which will be to deliver a message to Kunar. _________________ The world itself shifts and changes and fades to mist like the strings of a minstrel's harp, and mayhap the dreams we forge are more enduring than the works of kings and gods.-Robert E. problem now is, I just found marten and got the DD, then I returned the Umpani off then I went to see the T'rang, he immediately attacks, saying he's learned of my doings with the Umpani...I can enter the place fine until I talk to him, am I screwed out of uniting them? My game is so crazy and out of wack but it so much fun, makes the2nd time around in a more logical order that much better |

If you approach Zant with a quest object on your cursor and touch her with it instead of the lips, she'll stay safe.
I found out about Kunar by mindreading him. After about 5 games, i stopped doing any T'ragn quests beyond getting the mook letter for the rapax head. And i do that with them instead of the Umps because i usually have a Sam, so the Bushido is important. (it's also much easier to get then the Ump-Mook letter, time and game-wise) _________________ If thousand-year-old family traditions are so important to you, why do you have indoor plumbing and electricity in your family's house? |
