First of all, there is an exclusive 'Star Wars: Galaxies' trailer over at IGN. It's only available for subscribers of IGN's insider service at this time. No need to search for your mom's credit card though. The movie is going to be made available for the public by the end of the week according to this forum post from Kevin "Q-3PO" O'Hara (Community Relations Manager for the 'SWG' forums at Sony Online Entertainment).
"Q-3PO" has also revealed in this thread that the NDA is still in place but expected to be lifted in May. This may be an indication that 'SWG' is not going to be delayed too much further.
And in case you're interested in how "decay" works in the game there are two pretty interesting posts from Raph "Holocron" Koster (Creative Director) here and over there.

I hate to say it but real time item decay is a ploy to keep the player playing and money flowing in. The casual gamer is screwed and if you want to take a vacation for a few weeks say goodbye to your precious weapons and items

In addition to my post above I am talking about real time OFFLINE decay. Usage decay would be the most fair means of making items decay.. at least I think so.

They are doing that to make the in-game economy better, not as some marketing ploy.
