Be at peace with the Sect. Everyone like's a good hook up. Oh, and the Old Camp would win because that's just the way it is. "For Gomez!" _________________ His thoughts are whack.

Don't not underestimate the power of the spiritual warriors. One templar could probably easier take out two guards maybe even three. The templars in the old mine are enough to take out everyone else in there. _________________ =Moderator of The RPGDot Shadows=

Now thinking about the Free Mine, I feel that the raid was actually kind of dumb. It would take the Old Campers a very very long and hard journey to bring the ore back to the Old Camp. Something is confusing though...how did the shadows get in the mine? Are the diggers inside Old Campers or New Campers, because I can't seem to find any digger corpses? _________________ =Farseer=

Those diggers are old camp ones. They have to bring someone to dig the ore.
The new camp miners are called scrapers, i think. _________________ =Moderator of The RPGDot Shadows=

But where are the corpses of the scrapers? I mean, they should be inside, unless there were originally no scrapers (which seemed impossible ) _________________ =Farseer=

At first I thought the diggers were originally captured scrapers. *sigh* Hope the programmers won't be so lazy or forgetive when making Gothic 2. _________________ =Farseer=

Scrapers or diggers... I think they're more or less neutral. They just dig ore for whatever guards are keeping an eye on them.
In any case, I don't think the New Camp had scrapers beyond the gate, because there were minecrawlers deep in the mine (like the old mine, where the queen was) There's no queen in the free mine... but the minecrawlers there are bigger and tougher than the old mine's.
Most of the old camp guards have a light crossbow. Weak, short range and slow. Only Jackal has a heavy crossbow. Most of the new camp guys however have longbows, which do less damage than heavy crossbow, but more than light crossbow... and is longer range too.
Even if Templars have crossbows, I've never seen any use one and their weapon of choice is definitely a two handed sword... which basocally has a far shorter range than long bows. A field of Templars charging head on into a front of arrows will end up with very low life... if not very dead, before even reaching their enemies. |

and the Templars were fighting all the guys there with
great succes ... even beated up me but the final
victory was mine of course
@Erb Duchenne: When I lured swampsharks to the camp [ hee hee ]
the Templars used crossbows actually... _________________ =Member of the RPGDot Shadows=

When does the old mine actaully collapse. I went to it in chapter 5 and it was the same as usual except all the guards attacked me. So then I went around killing all the old camp people and the templars were helping me. They were killing guards everywhere without even getting hurt. The only problem were Asghan and Ian who were invicible. Ian didn't do much damage but Asghan killed all the templars around him so I knew it was time to bolt out of there with Ian still hanging around me like a fly.
Oh, and Light Crossbows do more damage than long bows. 50 to 40. They are slower though. I don't think they have a range though. Its just the further away the harder to hit. _________________ =Moderator of The RPGDot Shadows=

Then I would think the Old Camp would win, the guards have a very high number of achers and are also very strong with the sword. |
