when i have magic spell quipt on and when i trie to draw my weapon my magic pops up the only way to draw my weapon is by un quiping my magic can someone help me please

Press "1" to draw your sword or "2" to draw your ranged weapon.

Are you sure you are equiped with a sword and in the number1 position isnt a scroll or a rune?

yes because when i taKE off my magic and then i hit 1 my sword comes off and i can use the magic by hitting the # that it is drawn to so it seem to me like you dont have a clue how to help me oh well

Prehaps someone has swapped all of your buttons around and you aven't noticed, or prehaps not.

This problem has been encountered by many (reading the forum threads)
The solution lies here:-
You must decide which relates to you, generally you must have the correct keyboard for you pc-layout e.g country.sys (german/enlish/us/chinese. etc')
and then implemented in your opperating system.
The "binding" of keys or mouse controls is configurable but there is a default, (which would then "not apply" if the country.sys was incorrect)
Above and over-riding all of this is the fact that you can "assign" keys/mouse functions in the "ini" files. So take your pick.

O.k there poohead8989,
Now its testing time, stay cool and answer the questions one at a time,
1. In the options menu, under game settings, make sure your "Gothic 1 conrols is "ON". Then in the game try the No. 1 thing again, let me know, i will wait for you answer before deciding what to do next.
