Sounds attractive, but isn't Warcraft 3 a strategy game overall, not RPG even though it does have some RPG gaming elements?

No... I've been watching LL play Warcraft 3 and I can't see anything about it that justifies a forum. It's a pure RTS as far as I can tell, you build and attack, build and attack! I don't think the meager character development makes it a RPG.
Now I have to think of a new definition of RPG.

The whole purpose of this forum is Role Playing. If we started a Warcraft forum then why stop there, why not a sims forum? maybe a Nascar forum, or a Canasta forum...get the picture. |

Well, although I agree with no forum for now, keep in mind that the game is something that most of us like or would play AND it's big enough to warrant news on the main page. That to me means it's relevant enough to us RPGers to be talked about here.

yeah it's an rpg! it has enough rpg elements in it to be an rpg in my book at least. i mean you choose a race, you choose a character (or 3), and then you go and interact with other races and characters.
granted it has a leaning towards RTS but i know a good handful of ppl who would classify it as an RPG.

Here is what came to my mind:
Why don't we create a miscellaneous games forum - a froum specially for discussion on other type of games (FPS, RTS, adventure, simulation, etc), and even could includes certain CRPGs which are not very popular, or old games?. This would eliminate the need for so many different forums (browsing problem as mentioned by Hiddex X) and still provide a platform for gamer to discuss different games from different genre or redundant CRPG title??. The best thing with this kind forum is that we could attract more visitor or gamer to come here.
