i was wondering if there is any patch for the english version of Gotich 2 , and if , where can i get it ?

Why are you asking? Do you *have* the English version of Gothic 2?
And the answer is no, there no patch available.

yea i think i have the english version , it´s all on english 
why i´m asking ?? hmm i want to patch the game of course !
strange that there isn´t any patch for it , when there is a patch for the german version !

Sorry , i was little wrong there , a freind of mine asked me to post this , and he got it mixed up whit an other RGP !

Good you edited your post. Gothic II in English is not released yet. It will be in stores on June 13th.

 yes i saw this and told my friend , i turned out that he had Gothic , not Gothic 2 *L*

but here (Israel) the game got to the stores this Sunday (8/6).
So we need the English patch. Is there one avalible? |

No. The latest German version is v1.30. Most bigger bugs have been fixed, some smaller ones are still in. Stability is excellent. Even the unpatched release version was in a relatively good condition _for an RPG_.
Where did you buy it and how much did it cost (street price / RRP)? Can you give us some infos about box format and package content? If you have a scanner or digicam a packshot would be nice.

The game cost 220 NIS (New Israeli shekels) which is equivalent 48$ or 42 Euro (This is about the regular price for a game in here).
The game is in a DVD box (well, sort of). It's a 3 CD, one on top of the other - I hate this kind of setup cause the CDs always get loose and move all around the box.
The manual is really nice and it includes a tutorial for the first chapter. I haven't played the game a lot (work + studies + GF) but it really has the "Look and Feel" of the first game, which I guess we all loved.
