I bought my current system so I can tell people when they can use it or not. I convinced my little brother, little sister and older sister to buy systems for themselves. I don't have to share anymore. My older brother convinced me to buy my system so I'd stop using his.
So, now none of use ever have to share. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Or to know enough about system administration to not allow them to mess it up beyond their own account. _________________ (@) |

How can G2 not require a higher spec if it has textures at twice the detail?
It is likely to be twice as slow given the same draw distance - so it is a matter (once again) for a selectable draw distance to determine how well it runs on a PC of any power
I for one can run it 60fps+ (G1) with everything maxed, but would it be capable of that with G2, given the same maximised settings? I don't think so
scalability, that's the key - and possibly a setting for 256x256 or 512x512 switchable textures
I would like to see ANISOTROPIC support (to x16) as well
Makes a HUGE difference |
