| Y'Berion's spitting image; Xenu of Scientology |
|
I found this while reading about the absurdity that is scientology on Wikipedia. Apparently Y'Berion is the spitting image of Xenu, Scientology's "Alien ruler of the Galactic Confederacy". The resemblance is striking, that can't be denied. Not only that, but both are spiritual leaders of some loonie cult. I wonder if it's some sort of inside joke at PB?

Yeah! - sure is a remarkable resemblance, but your right, PB did use topical 'themes' suggested in other media, like Mud for example taken from the german TV show, and others. Each then lives-out or continues the same theme within the gothic games....interesting!.... will there now be new characters with similar media theme likenesses continued into G3..?

Possible. Scientology doesnīt have a good image in Germany. Here itīs not a religion. More the opposite, itīs under constant observation by the services because the responsible ministry thinks itīs borderline to organized crime.
