| Tough Opponents, early in game |
|
Finding my early quests, get the "bad people" for Varus in Balmora;
killing the four thieves second Fighter Guild quest VERY difficult. Seem
to get killed each time, seem to be outnumbered(6 total "bad people";
three thieves in mine) Killed the other one outside. What am I missing, or not doing? Played DAggerfall to end...is it my tactics, am I trying to take on these guys too early???Spellsword, Level 2 now, AR. 7, ????
Any advice appreciated... |

The bad people quest has been impossible for me to complete. As for the theives in the mines i was able to kill em but then i am a pure melee and had heavy armour on and was able to last long enuf to kill em.
I think u r not suppose to just keep on doing these guild quests. For example i just got a fighters guild quest (2-3 ofter the theives in the mine one) and its way too difficult 
I prolly will have to level up and come back

I waited til I was level 4 to do the bad men quest. Taunt the one at the top of the stairs til he attacks, repeat with the one in the basement. Then do it to the others, run up the stairs, and fight them one at a time as they get hung up on the barttender

I'm a level 2 Knight with heavy armor and I can kill the four "bad people" (they are the ones in the council club, right?), but when they're dead, I always get arrested by the guards when I enter Fort Moonsmoth (or something similar) and the captain doesn't give me the reward..
Am I missing something in this quest? |
