Huge exploit: changing skills and class name later

Ok, I started this with HUGE EXPLOIT because it is one. But it is the ONLY way (I know) that you can use to change your class name after starting the game. The same method can be used to *switch* the minor/major skills you have. So this is why it is a huge exploit.

So, if you want to know this, scroll down. If not, it is a SPOILER and EXPLOIT/Cheating so don't read along.

Open console and type:

player->enableclassmenu

This will bring you the same choise as you had in the beginning of the game. You can choose every skill your character has. You can also edit the name of the class you are playing. If you change your skills you do not loose the LEVEL of your skills, the skills just switch places (tried it). And the changes are visible after you save and load.

And before I get shouted at about revealing this thing and cheating in the game: YOU READ THIS FAR. I have used it myself to only change the name of my class from Adventurer to something else.

It is not an exploit. That would be something that is in the gameworld
and does not work the way it should and which in turn gives the player an unfair advantage.

What you describe is something someone that is PLAYING the game would never stumble across. What you describe is plain and explicit cheating.
No need to warn for that because a cheater sure knows him/herself !

Well, you read it that far so take it how you want it. I read many persons asking how to change the class name from Adventurer to something else, and this is by far the only way to do it. However, unfortunately it also allows some other things to be changed.

If you want to cheat, you can do cheating with it but do not blame me being a cheater if I just reveal the thing to you.

Use it the way you want it.

Why the fuss over cheating? I bought the damn game and if it makes my experience of it more enjoyable, why shouldn't I cheat? I don't personally because it does not make the game more enjoyable *for me*. But I certainly don't care if someone else does and they enjoy it more. Sheesh, who cares. I think this is a great tip because the first few characters I created were wrong in just one or two places and I would have liked to rethink those one or two. As it was I created new PCs until I eventually ended up where I wanted. For me this was fun, the game just does not get old no matter how many times I play thru the beginning, but I can see how this might not be the case for everyone.

I DON'T care if people cheat in sp, nor did I or did I intend to call the original poster a cheater.
I DID object against his saying it being an exploit, beacause it ain't. An exploit is something very different.
And yes, enjoy the game !

Cheers
