Inventory - Is it safe to store stuff?

I'm only a level 5 Survivor; but have accumulated quite a lot of neat stuff. I have a bunch of nifty looking swords and axes that I would like to use later in the game and don't want to sell them, just to re-buy them again later at a higher price. So, is it safe to store some of my things in an abandoned house?

Yes, in fact, feel free to steal a nice chest to put your loot into.

I left one teleporter stone in Joram's house and used his basement as a loot dump site! That way you dump your stuff, have a snooze, and get back on your merry way!

I just dumped it all next to the nearest teleport stone at the time. As far as I can tell, nothing ever goes missing.

Hi Kayla,

Do you know where I can get some lockpicks in the town? I'm at the beginning of the game.

BTW, are you the Kayla from the ABC forum on Delphi?

Try George. His stock changes every game day or two. If he doesn't have what you want, rest and come back later.

I've tried him a couple of times and noticed the stock changed but I didn't know the frequency. Thanks. I'll go take a couple of naps between shoping trips.
