we all worry that itll be torn up reall bad right?
well i guess these guys have a point there are games much worse than this one so no more worrying from me but if it is censored then i get to laugh at the people that didnt import the uk version, and a patch will be out soon neway, so it doesnt make much of a difference |

well in germany it was rated Teen in UK it was rated Teen so they wanna probably rate the game in US also as Teen and for that the need to rip some places out cos US got some more stricted stuff inside i am pretty sure they gonna rip violent stuff out etc |

I doubt they would rip any violent stuff out. As previously stated, there are FAR more violent games in the US. Such as Blade of Darkness, Soldier of Fortune etc. However they may take out the sex scene. People here seem to be real uptight/repressed about that stuff.

Well said, Chekote. The Germans are the ones who usually censor violence while the US Americans are the ones who usually censor sex  .

What sex scene? I played all the way through G2 and my copy is a UK import. I saw no sex scene what-so-ever... there wasn't even a bikini shot like there was in Gothic.
And as for yankees... down here yankees are specifically people from the north/northeast. People from the west and southwest (like Texas) aren't considered yankees. In the south, only the southeastern states are considered part of the south |

Yes it is in the UK version 1.31 as a cut scene. quite tastefully done.

10 to 1 Atari will not even touch the game…Their probably waiting for PB to fix the game and then they will distribute the patched G2 as the US release.

...hmmm so it seems that all we really need is more sex and violence! ...after all, it is the glue that holds us all together  Heh, anyway....i didn't know i was gonna start a little side script of talk of yankees and what not. Anywayz, i'm here to just say point that Gothic 2 probably won't be touched other than to be patched up. ...the game is good (from what i read) and it seems to be tastefully done so there's really nothing for us "yankess" heh heh, to be worried about.
