I'm merely curious... Plus, I'll have to choose one pretty soon.
Complementary comments are more than welcome, maybe something about what made you choose that one in the first place.

Mozilla Thunderbird - a) it's free, b) Outlook tended to crash all the time since my last computer rebuild.
It's pretty good, but it doesn't work too well with my current anti-virus software.

Gosh, I forgot The Bat! Could any of the moderators, please, add it to the list?

Btw, Edith thinks Mozilla is Netscape...

A write-in vote here for Mozilla Mail 1.4. I'll be moving over to Thunderbird next reformat, though.

Charlie thinks Edith needs to reconsider her advice - Mozilla is certainly not Netscape, if anything Netscape is Mozilla!

It's and oldie but a goodie. Lets see them write a virus for Pine! What can I say, it does everything I need it to.

Eudora, not because I really like it but because it was the first serious mail client I tried successfully with our RPGDot mail. Some of the leaner clients donīt support the required handshake method.

Eudora is stable and pretty good, although I would like to have more advanced config options for HTML backgrounds, pics, etc.
Iīm pretty satisfied with it. I would consider it a solid choice.

Opera 7 is my favourite browser, I use it all the time, but the included mail client sucks. I only use it for my secondary account because it has low traffic.

All the MS programs are not an option IMHO. Too many security problems. Using Outlook means calling for trouble.

Back in the day I used to send emails with embedded ANSI escape-sequences that could really shaft a Pine session. Suddenly the recipient would find that their terminal was black on black, or scrolling continually or something! *cackle*

Naturally, I wouldn't do anything like that these days.

Pine was my first email client, and if it weren't for the graphical world we live in I'd still be using it.

OE, as I am lazy and careless. Carrier pigeons would probably be more secure.
