They do that because they are trying to possess you. If they posses you, you need a anti-possession spell. I got it from Pyrokar, the Mage. _________________ /Hitman

As already mentioned above, that little 'jig' results in a curse. Once cursed your character doesn't regain health when sleeping. The best and most efficient thing you can do about the seekers is trying to kill them with a bow/crossbow or spell (holy magic works best). Once you hit them from a distance they're trying to hit you with their spells, they, however, do not try to curse you anymore. You now either can proceed battlingl them with bow/spells or going for the infight to knock them down with whatever melee weapon you're using. |

...did anybody ever try to strip a seeker down? I did. But that's more of a topic for the spoilers forum... _________________ Jaz |

I have drinked both my anti-possession potions, and got cursed once more. But Pyrokar don't sell new ones to me. Why? _________________

that's odd, are you sure your possesed? The Seeker's don;t always succeed in possesing you, try resting and see what happens, if you have nightmares then you are possessed and pyrokar should sell you the potions, if not try possesing him in marvin mode and pressing F8 _________________ =High Shadow of the RPGDot Shadows=

@Lysander: Take away a robe? You have to cheat to do it. I did it during a photo session (not playing, just zipping through the game to make tons of screenshots - I never thought about cheating while I played, cheating is something you do after you finished a game). You need to possess a Seeker and then enter his inventory to undress him. - By the way, the very same session served to infuse me with the knowledge that Lord Andre is the Paladin who looks best without his armor . _________________ Jaz |

I hate the "There he is!" and the "We will catch you" late at night! Can't say how many times I've wet myself due to those comments.. hmpf..
Being possessed is never really a problem, just fire at them with some sort of ranged weapon(you do not have to be skilled, because you can sneak pretty close to them before they do the "jig"), and then they'll attack you without doing the "jig".
Also, the Seekers will always possess you afte exactly 3 "jigs", except if you wear Karras' amulet against possession, or the Aura of Innos. |

Those seekers are actually the weed-smoking crackhead hippies from the sect camp in gothic1. One of the mages tells you that after some extended quest. That made me think-
I'd bet 100 bucks that the sleeper will return in gothic3 or at least gothic4. _________________ For Innos

Did you take away their clothes with nudepatch or without? Did you ask them to strip dance around the hero at Red Lantern?
I didn't do anything to the Seekers (they're all the same -- boring). However, I did make the magicians strip dance while they were performing the ritual ceremony at the stonehedge. Don't want to post the screenshots here... they're disgusting. |

No nudepatch. They were allowed to keep their boxers on. I just possessed them and de-equipped their robes.
Click me if you want to be spoiled, otherwise don't
Oh yes... and this will go to spoilers for at least one quest spoiler. _________________ Jaz |

No, Irf, I was wrong, I wasn't possessed. I thought that you were possessed after just one jig, but it wasn't so. _________________

You're possessed if you get a message that "You're stifled" (or something like that)
