Here's a list of fun things to do and try in X2. I'll get it started.
Have you ever...
- Gone through a jumpgate with the animation turned on in your spacesuit? Very cool. Reminded me of Time Tunnel ( I think that's what it was called).
- Ejected, taken control of your ship remotely, and zoomed it around like a model airplane in the line of sight of your astronaut? Whee!
- Used your ejected astronaut self as target practice? Ion cannons are fun for this!
- Hit your ejected astronaut self with a hornet missile? Ouch.
- Flew around inside the superstructure of your TL in a M5? It's the only way to get a sense of how large these things are.
- Flew through the spinny tail of a M2 Boron Ray (or tried)?

Xen, you kill me! I always forget, games are supposed to be fun. Thanks for the reminder.
BTW - IS it possible to fly through the spiney tail of an M2 Boron Ray?

Nope. The game counts it as solid (probably because it's spinning and easier to pretend it's all one mass.)
You CAN fly through the 'arches' on a Titan, though... pretty much every capital ship has a place that's fun to zip around in a M5.
