LOTR: TTT - DVD Special extended edition

Ahhhh...my precioussss.....

This one is absolutely great DVD release, really. Come with crystal clear picture, better than you've seen in cinema. The package contains 4 dics; disc 1-2 for movie and commentary, disc 2-3 for various bonuses - in-depth look at the film making process, interactive maps, documentaries, etc.

Most valuable thing is the 43 minutes new and extended scenes: extra scenes for Faramir, even with added scenes for Boromir (through flashback), better and longer scenes near the end (the ending part in cinema version was too sudden), etc.

And the music and sound effects are incredible. Your neighbours will have serious problem with you!.

I can't say I wasn't a little disappointed with the Two Towers screenplay adaption. When I saw the extended version, I liked the parts that were added from the book, but all the extra stuff with the flashbacks was boring (not to mention not in the book).

It's already shipped, I'm waiting for it to arrive.

If this is anything like the first one, I'll love it. Even the bonuses, which I normally don't bother with in DVDs, were worth every minute.

Agreed, I loved TT at the cinema and the added material on the DVD really is excellent.

Can't wait for RotK!
