Dragonshard

For anyone that has the new RTS D&D game, I have a question. Does anyone know how to fix a problem I have had? Every so often, usually within five minutes, the sound will screech and I get the blue screen of Death. I have downloaded all patches for the sound card and the game that I can find to no effect. I want to fix it but it resists every attempt. Help would be appreciated.
