Anybody wanna see pics of my Vampire? :) |

I was FINALLy able to create a vampire Redguard last night, and I snapped some pics if anyone's interested.
Here we go:
You can also see the Daedric Longsword I got lucky enough to find in there. |

Actually, you just have to fight with the vampire and let it cast Vampiric Touch on you. There's a very small possibility of becoming infected...the disease is called Porphyric Hemophilia. If you want to become one, I suggest you build up a character then create a secondary save file..one for your main quest and one for your vampire game. The vampire game is extremely tough.
The way I did it was by finding some vampires in a tomb west of Balmora. I turned on God mode and just let them keep casting and casting their spells until I became infected.
Now, I'm going back to kill them. |

Edit the INI file in your Morrowind folder to say Screen Shot Enable=1
Then while you're in-game, hold TAB and maneuver with the mouse. Use the mouse wheel to zoom in. Press the 'Print Scrn' button to take a shot. |

You get at least a 20 point boost in all stats. Depending on the bloodline you're a part of, you can get up to a 30 point boost in some stats.
Unfortunately, almost everyone will hate you, attack you on sight, and just generally be buttheads. Sunlight will hurt you...badly.
It's pretty cool being this incredibly powerful avenger though. |

If everyone will hate u then how will u even 'get' the quests let alone finish them?
Also i thought most vampires are able to disguise them selves, can u?

And how long did it take for you to transform into a vampire after you contracted the disease? |

Nope, people will recognize you as a vampire no matter what. You can do some of the main quests, it'll just be a lot harder to progress. There are a few vampire-only quests given to you by the different clans, though.
It takes 3 days to turn into a vampire after being infected. |

I have a level 14 Nord Warrior and found being a vampire is pretty impossible for furthering the game and did not think at the time to create a second save-game series just for vampirism; Oh well, got tired of being either attacked or completey shunned by damn near everyone. I would like to know what that sword is and where you possible got it? |

Is there a way to cure yourself of vampirism after you complete the specified quests?
It seems a bit odd to me that that they would include a substantial subquest that essentialy nuked the main game.
Oh, and where did you get that cool sword? |

You can cure vampirism, you just have to find the Vampires of Vvardenfell Vol. II book for a tip on where to find the cure.
As for the sword...honestly I can't remember where I got it. I'll look in the strategy guide and see if I can find out where it is. It's the Daedric Longsword though. |
