| Another "Gothic 2 won't run" topic |

I installed the game and that went ok. When I went to start up the game, it never loaded (I waited a full 30minutes). I checked here and followed the instructions on how to solve the problem, but that obviously didn't work!!!
Is there any other way to fix this problem??
My system specs are:
AMD 2500XP
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro All in Wonder
512mb PC2700 RAM
Win XP w/ SP1

Are all drivers up to date?
What mainboard do you have?
Are all programs closed, spyware and viri killed, etc.?
