the guy at fort moomoth told me "a little story" about the "bad people", and i've found out who they are from the thieves guild, but do you have to be a thieves guild member in order to progress the quest? i've hit a dead end and just walking in and killing them all gets me killed by the guards. i've tried taunting them and that doesn't work either. HELP!  |

Ah, maybe you just need to think more like a thief? Either don't openly commit any crime, or if you do, don't get caught!

Well there are 2 ways to do it.one way you have to have a lot of speechcraft(impirial) or just kill them all and say qwho cres about the bounty.If you do the 2nd path then run like hell to the thives guild quorters and erase your bounty

Or if you do openly kill them, and you keep getting caught, use a spell or potion to turn yourself invisable. You should be able to get to the cornerclub without being caught. If you want to taunt them, Caius or the guy who removes bountys in balmora can train you in speechcraft
