Uhm... things are a LOT simplier than you presented them in here.

So...

Step 1) Install Gothic 2 english version

Step 2) Launch the Gothic 2 german v1.30 patch in extract mode ( run Gothic2_v1.30.exe /X ) and extract Gothic2.exe file from it. Put it OVER (overwriting) the Gothic 2 english version's original one (it can be found in Gothic 2's install directory, System folder)

Step 3) Install the german addon

Step 4) Install Gothic 2 german addon's patch v 1.26

Step 5) install the latest version of G2aTT-g2DNdR ETM

Step 6) Use GothicStarter.exe to launch it

That should be all :PPP

Make a shortcut on your desktop for the german 1.30 patch. Right click on it, then select Properties. There you can see an edit field names Target: which contains the full path to you Gothic 2 german v1.30 patch... the last part of it is the name of the german patch exe file.

So, assuming the file is named Gothic2_130_de.exe then that Target: field contains a text which must ends in \Gothic2_130_de.exe. Add a /X so it should end like this \Gothic2_130_de.exe /X then press apply and double click the shortcut to make it run the patch in the extract mode.

Hope this helped

Thank you very much, it helped.

It's good I've asked. I would never think of it myself.

To Cade54: You are not dumb, if you got to it yourself, I consider you to be pretty smart...

Well, in fact the way i told you about is different than using a command line, but it's easier to use by someone not knowing what a command line is

The name "D:\New Folder\Gothic2_130_de.exe /X" specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.
