I just got this game yesterday. Are there any patches, i assume there are but cant find any here or at the main gothic 2 website. Thank for any replies |

Thanks! one more question, if i choose later to enable cheats, ive read that you type marvin in the character sheet, but it isnt possible to type in the character sheet....?? ( confused)... |

O.k evilodin,
Press b on the keyboard then marvin then b again (that's bmarvinb) you should see either "marvin mode" or "testmode on" then when you press F2 function key, a greyed out menu should drop down where you can enter you commands, F2 again will get you back out.  |

hi again; i went into the game and did the bmarvinb thing and nothing, should i be anyplace special when i do this? you can't actually type marvin while in the game. i am old and frustrated, sorry to ask but please help...  |

Try it again. All you have to do is typing 8 characters:
B (or C, the key which toggles the character screen)
MARVIN
B (or C or Esc)
No Enter, etc.
Then you should see a message at the top-left.
