yeah, i did that to get into the new camp's bar. it seems if you fly by and roll you can get anywhere you want in gothic. they need to fix this for two. maybe put a closed door in front of such places so you can't just jump by.

yeah, in the new camp bar i just beat the crap outta the guys, but in the old camp i just took off thorus' immortal flag, and kicked his ass too. But these problems definatly need work in G2. Like ive heard that there are dragons, i definatly don't want to be able to kill them easily when i have full skills and 100 str. Like in G1 if i had that most things went down in one hit or 2. When i fight a dragon i want it to take awhile, like maybe a few game hours...

I really hope PB potrays dragons as intelligent and noble creatures, rather than mindless fire breathing beasts. Of course, the point of being a dragon slayer will still be to kill them, I just think joining the Slayer Guild would be alot more interesting if the dragons could talk, or even give you a quest or two before you try to carve a reputation out of their hide.

good idea

yeah i like that....kind of like in "The Hobbit" where bilbo talks to Smaug for awhile before Smaug trys to have roast hobbit for dinner. (althought bilbo would make scarcely an apetizer for a dragon...)

Smaug was a dumbass dragon. He just talked to Bilbo to try to get him to show himself so he could kill him. Unfortunately, Bilbo could be standing right in front of Smaug without him even knowing.

Then in anger Smaug went and terrorized some villages... which got himself killed.

intelligence...

in genral dragons tend to be very intelligent creatures, having lived way longer than any humans, and have very powerful magick, as well as the ability to speak....

in general trolls inhabit swamps, but that didn't mean PB couldn't makeany mountain trolls. in general orcs don't have civilizations, just tribes of killers, but that didn't stop PB from making them intelligent civilized creatures.

in general dragons are highly evolved magical creatures. but that might not stop PB from making them mindless firebreathers.

and it might not stop them from making dragons intelligent

PS, river trolls live in swamps.... stone/mountain trolls live in mountains

What I want from Gothic II

If you ask me, I would say that there should be more magic in Gothic II. More spells and the ability to make spells more powerfull. For an example - I am a 6 circle mage, and I am using a 4 circle spell. Because I am at 6 circle, the spell could inflict more damage or it should cost less mana. Also it is a good idea with the torch. The controls in the game - well, for me they are good and doesn't need to be changed. I don't know why there are so many posts about controls in Gothic. You just have play for a bit longer, and the controls won't be a problem.
