my name is roXtar
and im here to tell you, that we are working on a fully syncronised mod.
yes you read right!

here are some features of that mod:

- new magicians - the spellsinger
- new spells
- new weapons (f.i. a gun, the lurker-claw, or the duar - the mighty instrument from the spellsinger)
- a shepherd an his sheeps (hmmm - i said sheeps? - there must be mud around there - LOL)
- new armor
- new monster
- another hero
- 5 years before gothic
- additional new locations
- fully syncronized

till now, that project was only in german language.
but we like to give an eglish syncronised version, to the english speaking people too.

for that reason, and to speed up our work,
we offer following jobs to the community:

voices
3d-modeling/animation
scripting
textures
level-editing
a python programmer (to force a plugin project from nico (ex-piranha bytes) and nightwulf, that will give us the possibility to use another 3d program, than the most expensive 3dmax, to make 3d-models and animations ready for gothic)

if you are interested - mail me:
mail@roXtar.de

our website is unfinished til now, but who cares - heres the link:
Advanced Mod Team

best regards
roXtar

The problem is the few people here who are interested in modding donīt have enough information to understand that making a serious mod for Gothic is VERY complicated.
I assume they think "Why integrate into another project if we can start our own?"

Supporting this project will help you avoiding the mistakes many German mod groups made. This is the best start you can have!

Yeah...I don't know anything about making a mod...only editor I ever started was the UT one and there I just extracted the music...
If you want a Swede with a English accent for voice overs I could try that though...

Daedelus, try it...you may just be too hard on yourself.
I mean, the worst case is that your work is of no use and they'll be where they were before you applied...
I mean they won't lose anything, they can gain or remain the same...
So apply, maybe you'll help with getting the mod out and learn a bit along the way too...and if the mod's out fast we'll all be happy I think.
