Ultima X: Odyssey - Tiny gameplay movie

UO stratics has a tiny, 8 second long gameplay movie of Ultima X: Odyssey showing some combat!
You can see some enemies and heroes, as well as some of the environment and special effects which all looks rather cartoonish.
If you want to make a relaxed study of this footage, take a look at the screenshots we took form it in our UXO gallery.

If i wanted to watch cartoons i would turn on direct tv and watch spongebob squarepants for half an hour. I am somewhat disappointed that they choose to make the game look like a walt disney film.

I like the cartoon look personally. I'm really getting tired of seeing all these MMORPG's trying to look so real. I'm in a fantasy game, make me FEEL like I'm in a fantasy game. I loved DAoC, but one of the main things that drove me crazy was how real it felt. The trees were real, the buildings, the landscape the creatures etc. they all somehow managed to immitate reality, or religion.
One of the reasons I'm looking forward to World of Warcraft so much, is because it just looks like a fantasy world. Even if the game itself sucks, I'm willing to bet its the most immersive fantasy game to date
