|
As VE3D reports, Encore will the the publishing partner of JoWood's games in the US:
Austrian based developer and publisher JoWooD Productions Software AG today announced that it has signed an exclusive publishing agreement with Encore, Inc. a majority-owned subsidiary of Navarre Corporation for the marketing and distribution of nine games throughout North America. Encore will be managing the sales, distribution and marketing for these titles while JoWooD will be delivering content.

AquaNox 2: Revelation, Wild Life Park, Cold Zero and Chaser are among the PC titles covered in the agreement, all of which will be available over the next six months in the U.S.

Andreas Tobler, CEO of JoWooD Productions Software AG, commented, 'This is a testament to our new strategy for finding suitable partners in key territories. We are pleased to partner with Encore, a company that can effectively extend our successes in Europe to the U.S. This is important for the success of our games and for our company.'
No word about Gothic 2 so far, we try to get more info on this as well as deals for other territories! |

Strange...it thought and hoped, it was Infogrames! The only game I know from Encor is Fairy Tale Adventure II from 1997 or so...let's hope they do their job right! |

The link is broken.
JoWooD only licensed B games, plus AN2 as highlight, to Encore, so we can still hope Gothic II will be distributed by a stronger partner. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |
