Just drop the item in a lake and use the console command to add the money you want for ir . Technicaly this isn't cheating, hehe

I believe it is

player->additem "gold_100" #

# is where you put the amount you want. If cheating kind of concerns you, take an item with a decent price, and bargain with an NPC, and see how much the "amount sold" reflects the actual value of the item. Then find the % and apply that to the items you are selling to the lake

Kinda sucks that you can't get rid of expensive items for what they are worth. I suppose NPC's won't even give you all the money they have if you were to want that, so you are stuck with them.

Personally I like the idea of "priceless" items
