Tommarow I get Gothic returned to me again from the abyss that is Fed Ex. Since I was not home when it arived but I was home to recieve my new comp. Seems like a relic already but I am happy to have upgraded from a 150 mhz comp and move into the new milenium well almost. So tommarow when I recieve Gothic I shall formally gain access to the Gothic forum. I am happy !!!!!)

I am hoping so I do know I am pushing this system to its limits in order to play Gothic.

I have a Dimension 4300S for super to open 2 buttons flip open whoo hoo. 1.4 GHz with intergrated audio. 20 gb HD 5400 rpm Seagate.
cd with rw ATI 32 Rage Ultra vid card.
and Win XP home edition.
I did intentionally try to max this comp out with Gothic. I am still able to play with some slow downs when that happens I have to Reboot then all is good for a couple of hours.

Well, if you got enough "RAM", both on your machine and the Graphic-card, you can pull it through. Your weakest points though are your harddisk and graphiccard! |
