Is there any way to invert the Y-axis of the mouse in the game? For me, trying to move around without the inverted mouse is like trying to ride a bike with your hand crossed. I keep looking at the ground when I'm trying to look up.
Most games have a switch for this, I hope Gothic gets one in the full version. |

Third person games are easier to control with buttons than with a mouse. Like Morrowind when it comes out it will have a default first person view for the pc because of the mouse, but it will have a default third person for the xbox because of the button controler, it's simply easier.
You can use a mouse in Gothic just like you can use a mouse in driving and flight sim games, you CAN do it but it does not work too well, at least that's what I find.
I keep my left hand near leftcontrol and my right hand on the arrow keys, that way my fingers are next to all the important keys. |

I´m 99% sure I remember seeing such a switch.
Are you sure there is none in the demo?
My favourite control scheme is left hand on asdw, right hand mouse. |

In the full version there's is a switch. Absolutely sure. But GOTHIC is my first game to play only with keyboard. In my opinion you've got more control over your hero without using the mouse.

I think it is better to use the mouse! You can turn yourself in a fight easier and faster! |
