I have a friend who uses a Mac laptop and is complaining that it is running to slow. I searched for a de-frag program but was unable to find one. Does Mac have a de-frag program? Can you give me any other tips on running a Mac faster?

I have heard very good things about DiskWarrior. You may want to try that.

It did when we used it.

Obviously if the problem is that the laptop is just underpowered; then no, its not going to make much difference.
