If wizardry get another relaese, it will probably not be from "Sir-tech" as the situation looks right now. |

Michael, you forgot the Sir-tech & Phenomedia deal a few weeks ago. I´m not sure if this counts as a 'real' Wizardry, though. |

Well I guess it's first a matter if "Sir-tech" survive or not, and the latest known reports are not happy news. Checking there home-page also show no "news" since october 2001 |

Sort of. Make new games based on the scenarios of Wiz1-3. |

Well, if that can keep "sir-tech" alive among other things, then no problem, maybe then they will consider a Wizardry 9! |

The issues at SirTech won't be a problem with Wiz9. It's scheduled for the year 2012 to match the Wiz 7-->8 development cycle. By then the internal issues will have been worked out.

What are the internal issues? I thought it was just lack of viability of RPGs - leading to lack of financing? Anyone got any sales figures of Wizardry 8? |

Maggot, did you get Wizardry 8 through your local dealer, or oversea buying. The game is has still not reached Denmark yet. I bought an overprized oversea imported copy! |
