No more Alia

I tried to steal the ring from the rebels and stepped on a pressure plate and set of an alarm. So I killed all of the rebels, 'cause thy were gonna kill me if I'd let 'em. Anyway I've saved the game beforethe mass slaughter but have since come very far, will a dead alia change the game for me? Should I restart at save point if game won't end properly?

Killing NPCs in Arx Fatalis won't get you stuck with the main plot.
It will change some events in the game but you'll be able to finish it.
