One of the most stirring movies I have ever seen. This is the best documentary ever made IMO. Watch it. _________________ OMG! WTF?! MONKEYS!!!!

I enjoyed it too. His first documentary (I think), Roger & Me, is just as good. Worth tracking down. |

I saw it in school and it was very good, and entertaining too. I think he succeeded in illustrating the the problem the US have with gun shootings. _________________

Yeah, it's a good documentary.
I would also recommend reading some of his books, like 'Stupid White Men' and 'Dude, Where's My Country'. Amusing and interesting. _________________ Like some bold seer in a trance;

Correct. Moore's style does little to change your mind. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

I think Roger & Me is probably better in that respect... although since I agree with the points it tries to make, I can't be sure Also, Bowling For Columbine attempts to cover many issues with varying success, and Roger & Me is more focused.
There were a couple of bits in Columbine where I think he tried to rely too much on emotive tactics (like the end of his experience with Heston, overstated by the two-angle editing), and I think these scenes appeared slightly tacky and let the film down, but not enough to really damage it overall. |
