I hate to flame any game, other than Diablo 2, but after playing that game I felt like vomiting. Repeatedly. On the game disc.

I like the Special System, and I liked lionheart, besides the crap combat, that people somehow claim is not as good as other RT combat systems but I see no diference, clicking without thought is clicking without thought. But then you get outside barcelona and it turns into NWN. Click, click, click, pick up crap, click, click, crap, crap, crap. Then I quit because I'm a quiter and I also shave the hair between my eyebrows so I do not have a unibrow.

Heck, you should have your wife pluck them. I thought that was part of the marriage contract *grin*

My wife beats me, she is slowly plucking my soul from my body. Her goal is to leave me in the same shape having a frontal labotomy would. Help me. I think she interpreted the love, cherish, etc vow differently than most non-Satanist usually do.

This post probably belonged in the CRPG general but we did a good job turning it off topic so maybe it won't get moved.

Hey, I am not one of the founding fathers...er...spammers of the Cross Topic Bane-ers for nothing, ya know.

Well, I'd love to stay and spam some more, but the fit just hit the Shan here at work!

Don't mind me fellas while I respond to the original question.

Lionheart wouldn't have enough traffic to sustain a forum. It was probably my most anticipated game at one stage. I stubbornly ignored Reflexive's background, paid no attention to my doubts and disappointment when the demo came out and slapped my money down on a pre-order.

I think I probably got ~50-60% through before quitting. Only Black Isle game I haven't finished...

I am a hairy woman. I like rpg games with turn-based combat like Realms of Arcania, Fall Out, ToEE. I also like action games with RPG elements like Arx Fatalis and Gothic but I am not able to handle the twitch-combat in Gothic. Trying, and trying agiain makes me worse at it.

The games I can't stomach are the no brainer click combat games like Diablo, Dugeon Siege, and NWN. Clicking on enemies over and over doesn't do it for me. I like challenge and thinking.
