Gothic II doesn't run (video problem?)

I just bought Gothic II after hearing from some friends how good it is...

But it doesn't run on my system. I double click the icon, I get the hourglass for a second, and nothing else. If I check Windows Task Manager, I see it sitting there (the process) and taking no CPU time.

System Details:
2.4HT Pentium
512 MB RAM
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128
2 gigs of HD space free.
Creative Labs Live! soundcard

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hey there wzrd,

You need at least 2.2gb of hard disk space plus enough room for saved games, try unloading some programs that are not to important maybe?

Good luck

Wait longer. The first start can take up to 10 minutes on systems with a slow hard disc.

Gorath, that was it! Works great now, the first time just took a few minutes for it load the first time. Tech Support at Atari says it's something to do with Fat32...

Thanks again.
