I choosed Jorgen as my captain since he was really miserable at the monastery, poor guy.

Jack was also top of my list...but at least he got his lighthouse back and he can still run it. So I gave the chance to Jorgen.

I didnt choose Thorlof eventho I liked him and I am his compatriot, a merc.
But his request is too wicked. I just couldnt do it - not even in a game.
Did you see the poor militia guy hiding behind the crates in the castle.

I also ignored Oric's quest.
I didn't kill Hosh Pak eventho he burn my ass to crisp as I dash in like a mad fool to retrieve Fero's sword and then ran away as fast as I can
OK, maybe it's just me, but I don't like the whole Ur Shak- Oric - Hosh pak sequence. I guess I just like Ur Shak too much.

It would be great too if I can meet Tarrok again in G3.

My favorite captain is Torlof; since he's the only captain who fights along when the orcs attack your ship ... and beside that i think he's the only one who can train you also (not that thats needed, but anyways).

I dont see what problem you guys have with opening the gate;
- you get a nice movie
- more xp/items
- you can beat up a couple of those arrogant Knights
- it's a shorter walk thrue the main gate

I refused to do Torlof's quest because I found it wrong a stupid thing to do because it's autodestructive. The humans are at war with the orcs and they are also my enemies so I don't want to do something which makes the orcish conquest of Khorinis even easier for them only because Torlof does not like the paladins. And the mercenaries will suffer from this invasion just as much as the paladins and all the other people inhabiting Khorinis so it's against their long-run interests that the castle gate is opened(I was a dragonhunter in the game by the way).

near the gate, there are some boxes against the wall. jump on it. if you look left than, there is a door. (you must have a key) and behind it is a switch to open the gate (there will be a cool movie then)

Or you can just enter the building with 1 knight in front ... 2 beds inside and the room with the Castle supplier ... if you take the door on the left side in the house (in the back), you walk up the citywall ... the main gate guard stands there (you can pickpocket him or knock him down for the key).

who's marco? I don't remember. I only took GOrn cause I thought he'd fight. I should've taken Milten too. Nothing to do about it now I guess. All the all do is just sit there.
