Gothic 2 addon is not in English; I have installed ETM

I go to the GothicStarter on my desktop and I should Gothic 2 Night of the Raven and then every thing loads up. When I play the game though the subtitles are still in German. Can someone help me change them into English!

You must choose betwin the english(mod) or the german gothic2 add-on to start.

How do I choose the English mod. When I open the Gothic starter there are two things in there. One that says Gothic 2 Die Nacht des Raben and then another that says Gothic 2 Night of the Raven. I click on Night of the raven because it says that it is the english one, but when I play the game its still in German.

Have you done exactly what Whailor described in his post?("install the addon on the English version" thread)

quote:
STEP 0: Install another copy of Gothic2, in case you mess something up. COPY your savegames to some other place for now, for safekeeping! Install another G2 copy to folder, say, \Program Files\JoWood\Gothic II, that will do.

STEP 1: In System folder of your new G2 installation, rename the file vdfs32е.exe to vdfs32g.exe; rename the file vdfs32е.dll to vdfs32g.dll.

STEP 2: You need GERMAN gothic.exe file now, to replace the english one. From where you get it, is up to you, I'd say try german G2 CD.

STEP 3: Download patches 1.29 and 1.30 and install these. NB! Make SURE you point the patcher to CORRECT path, if you installed second copy of G2, as described in STEP 0!

-- Patch 1.29
-- Patch 1.30

STEP 4: Install the Night of the Raven add-on. Make SURE you install it on CORRECT G2, if you installed the second G2 copy as in STEP 0 above!

STEP 5: Once "NotR" is installed, download and apply "NotR" patches:

-- Patch 2.5a
-- Patch 2.6

STEP 6: Once the patches have been applied, run, just in case, in that G2 SYSTEM folder the following file: vdfs32g.exe. Let it finish (green bar will flash few times) and, you're done.

When I installed the addon I patched it to 2.6 right away. Did I need to go 2.5 -> 2.6 -> ETM?
