Did FF9 ever get ported? If not... I'd say... no.

Buy a PS2 it costs about half as much as a decent graphics card card, plays DVDs,keeps the kids happy, takes up very little room, looks cool, plays all your old playstation games and makes you coffee in the morning

If you remove all packaging and leave them on top for ten minutes-it certainly does

PS2...go for it

Take the previous advice and buy a PS2...there is no shame in it and it is a damn good console.

I have 2 networked PC's, a Dreamcast, a PS2 and still got my SNES for thos great Mario Racers moments.

We (my boy & I), bought FFX on Saturday and we haven't stopped playing it since. The grafix are some of the (if not the) best I have evr seen...it just oozes quality from the acting voice overs to the "camera" angles.

OK it is very linear and replay value is tending towards zero, bit at least you know what to expect b4 you buy it.

I don't know about you guys, but I tend to play different genres on different systems.

PC:- RPG. Strategy, some FPS's, God games.
PS2:- Sports Sim (FIFA, NHL), Platforms (Jak & Daxter), Racers (GT3)
Dreamcast:- Only bought this (cheap) so we could play Skys of Arcadia (xcelled).

PLUS, some games only come out on one format so I think with a PC + a PS2 you should have all the good games covered.

OK, you've got the X-Box (oh, BTW, you can add a keyboard, monitor, mouse etc;) ???, but...iv'e got that and its called a PC.
Don't know much about the Gamecube yet so we might get one xmas time if any good sw is out for it.

Maybe a good prompt for a "What games systems have you got.." type poll ??

Regards,

Hexmaster.
