it's a BGII expansion which requires the game...else it would be kind of illegal unless they purchased the Infinity engine _________________ "It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corruptible." |

Ok you convince me to buy BGI and then get with BGII. But I need 150+ hours to get through the first one. _________________ "Whow, the necromancer is here" -Bartacus to myself |

It took more more than 150... if you count the breaks from the game I took because I found it very, very dull. BG2 was much better for pacing... _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

What bugs are you talking about? If you speaking of Darkest Day, i wouldnt use it. I am currently playing the Baldurs Gate series, starting from the first one and its expansion, and now i am in chapter 3 of the Throne of Bhaal, all with the same character (a mage, btw).
I tried to use Darkest Day. Heck, i wanted to use it, but the darn game crashes all the time i use it. I installed everything, like its patches, et cetera, and it still crashed every 10 minutes. So i dont use Darkest Day for the reason that it was impossible to get through the game with it. It might be just my system or something though, if it works for everyone else. Like i would encounter a monster that was specific to DD, and as soon as i attempted to attack it, the computer freezes.
Right now i am playing plain old Throne of Bhaal (BG2) with no crashes and no errors. Darkest Day is bugged. I dont recommend it. _________________

You can download the patches for all BG games from Interplay or even Fileplanet. One you will definately need is the DirectX patch -- otherwise multiplayer (or even single-player) will not work. Do a search on www.fileplanet.com under Baldurs Gate and you will find it there. _________________
