Space Wolves - great game, but can't complete it.. ?

Serious spoiler alert, as my problem is on the final level.

I have really enjoyed Space Wolves so far, but right now I'm pretty close to throwing it out the window. I'm at the very end of the game, and I have to destroy the 4 generators at the same time. This is not a problem, and I always succeed. I get a message from Phantom "Excellent, now we have to leave" or some such thing and WHAM!!.. Computer crashes. Every single time. It just freezes. If I fail the quest and die it doesn't crash, it just says "you were still in the area when the space bag exploded" or whatever. If I succeed, and riiiiight before El is supposed to show up again - WHAM, whole computer freezes.

Anyone have a brilliant suggestion as to what to do? It's really frustrating, because I just can't complete the game(and it's been really fun so far).
