Tribunal Quests - Gedna Relvel....One MEAN Lich

While exploring the underground areas of Mournhold, I stumbled across what appears to be an entrance to another area, blocked by two large stone boulders. These appear to be "doors" into another chamber. Everytime I passed these doors, I could hear the rattle of skeletons on the other side (I have the ASE 3.0 plugin installed). So, I assumed that these were doors to where the skeletons were hiding.

I was bored at this point, so I issued the console command "TCL" to turn off clipping, and walked through the boulder-doorway to be met by several skeletons, all of which I easily took care of (I'm level fifty-eight). I then proceeded through the tunnel to another chamber, where this really difficult Lich named "Gedna Relvel" promptly (and I do mean promptly) disposed of me. Just for fun, I figured out what made him weaken. Namely, a reflect-magic spell works wonders here, because every time he hurls a fire spell at me, it bounces back to him. Keep that reflect-magic spell going, and he'll eventually kill himself. Use the pillars in the mean time to give yourself opportunity for recharging or "loading" more reflect spells as well as drinking health potions.

OK...no challenge and a spoiler, but now that I know how to kill Gedna Relvel (who BTW has one darned useful robe), what I really want to know is how to open those boulder-doors in the first place. Are there explosives available later in the quests? Is there a secret "switch" or lever in one of the subterranean areas?

Thanks,
dolmenlord

Look in the stickied thread "Tribunal Questions" for answers to these and other questions.
