Hi guyz,
Im a big RPG fan.. well, since every registered member on this site is a RPG fan, I dont have to say more.
The thing is, that me and my mate are creating our own Online-RPG and I want those really nice and owning sound themes from Lands of Lore 2 and 3. Cuz David Arkenoffs Music is just so feelful and brillant (I bet he would also be a good componist for movies).
Now ive been trying to find the sound themes from LOL2+3 (Lol=Lands of Lore) without success. Napster and WinMX only bring up four themes from both games and not more, whatever I search. Then i was on the homepages of those games, but also there, only one theme at maximum to download.
Then I went on the homepage of the componist David Arkenoff and wrote him even a mail, but he didnt write back unfortunately
So Im asking you RPG freaks out there:
Where can I get ALL (or at least a lot) Lands of Lore 2 and 3 tunes???
It would be really be a personal help for me if you know an answer. Thanks!!
See ya
Getorix

Have you tried ripping them from the game?

Unfortunately I dont really know how to do that. Both games have 4 CDs and I also explored them, but it seems like all sound themes are on the CD as one file with an unknown format.

Um,

If you're going to use COPYRIGHTED SONGS in YOUR OWN GAME, wouldn't it be a good idea to get, like, permission from the publisher or something? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a good idea to rip those songs and use 'em in your own game without asking, even if you're going to offer your game as a free download...

Err, I agree with Calis, however, I assumed mr. Getorix was NOT going to actually DISTRIBUTE his game with the lands of lore music, but use it as placeholder music in his project until he had a score of his own. I think Getorix can forget about going public with an Online RPG with music from a copyrighted Westwood game, but I assume he knew that.
