| Looking for a Game after 2 years out |

Hello Everyone,
I guess i would call myself a oldskool noobie to the mmorpg scene. I played Ultima Online for about 4 or 5 years, but about two years ago I did the responsible thing and got my own life. I moved out of my parents house and on my own. Well, I guess when you do that your old life as you know it ends.
Anyways, I had no money or time for Ultima anymore, so i quit playing... what a shame. Well now im back in action!!
I have a point here guys, bear with me. I am just wondering, Does anyone know if UO is even worth going back to? or should i find a new game? If so, what games are in beta, or just released, that i might enjoy? As I've said I was a huge fan of UO but i got tired of the item BS that UO started leaning to towards the end. too much like Diablo for me. I wasnt a big fan of EQ or DAoC either. Can anyone help me or should i just get back to my PS2?

Irth Online is released November 1. Supposed to have alot in common with Ultima Online only with 3d, up-to-date graphics. One of the devs supposed was in charge of a big UO private shard or something.
