I got a letter yesterday from EBGames that my pre-order wouldnt ship until 2/03...
2/03?!?! WTF?!
Anyone else heard about a delay in the N.A. release date? |

Some of the most sharp brains in the world are struggling with the phenomena known as "Devs view on Time vs The rest of the worlds view of Time". It appears that all game-developers are living in happy-land, where time is something highly fictive and nonthing to really bother about. The word "Deadline" is the same as "When ever youīre ready guys, donīt stress it" and "Hurry" means "If you donīt feel like doing it now, do it tomorrow. Or any other day. Or donīt do it at all, whatever suits you best at the moment."

How can there be a delay if a release date wasnīt even announced? Who said Gothic II would be shipped in North America in late November?

Why would it take so long for it to hit US. UK is just across the water and they are getting it end of Nov.
In fact, I think Im gonna cancel my EB order and get it from a UK site, anyone have a good site. |

Marketing? JoWooD doesnīt only want to ship, they also want to sell.
The truth is we donīt know when Gothic II comes to North America. Look at the chaotic Arx Fatalis release. Maybe JoWooD decide a in four weeks that theyīll ship to the US in late November.

There is no chaos, only masses of people who refuse to view the available infos before they post.
I wonder whatīs all the fuss about. The release dates have been posted one month ago and nobody really cared. Now that a US retailer sends out a letter to calm down his customers people start losing their nerves.
